I just had my scans and I am glad to say I am stable.

But it made me think about how anxiety producing this is…and that most people don’t understand why we are having scans, how often we have them and why this is so emotionally draining. I made an attempt to explain it here: http://animoto.com/play/SSeFswBYB5dxZA401GWcEw

This eloquent video teaches so much to others. You continue to rock! I am so glad you are stable.

    All best, Shirley

  2. What a wonderful and informative post. Katherine, how can I post this to the books Facebook page? Or would you? Of course I would note the source of the information as coming from you. – Love – Suzanne

Thank you, Katherine for the animation. Am posting this on my Face Book page since it explains what I am going through. I also have MBC in bone. Just had Bone scan and CT scan in April since have had rising tumor markers. Both show “slightly worse”. I have had MBC since 9/2009 and am 82 so consider that I am lucky since I have only minor side effects and occasional pain over scapular. Your posts keep me going.
