I love xkcd. When I was lying there, wth the linear accelerator/atom-smasher/deathray machine looming, I couldn’t help feeling like I’d been abducted by Klingons. And you get such a special feeling when the crosshairs light up and reflect on your body. One could do a whole comic book about the experience. I kept thinking about Star Trek, pretending I was Captain Kirk & writing about it in the Enterprise logbook.
